Terms of Service
Last updated 3 September 2026
These terms govern your use of aireel.tv and its sister storefronts (aireel.tv, gittrailer.com, shipclip.tv, repo2video.com) — one service, operated by Ame.link, Tweede Kostverlorenkade 114h, 1053 SB Amsterdam, the Netherlands ("we", "us"). By creating an account or making a film you agree to them. If you use the service on behalf of a company, you confirm you may bind that company.
1. The service
You give us the address of a product — a landing page, and where we offer it, a public GitHub repository — and we produce a short promotional film for it: a script, drawn scenes, a narrator's voice, a musical score, in the product's own look. Films are generated automatically by software, including AI models, in the formats and lengths shown when you order.
We may change, add or retire features, formats and storefronts. We will not remove a film you paid for without telling you.
2. Your account
You sign in with a magic link sent to your email address or with your GitHub account. Keep access to that mailbox and account safe: anything done through your account is on you. One person, one account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age at which you can enter a contract where you live.
3. Permission for what you submit
You may only submit a website or repository that you own, or that you have permission from its owner to make a promotional film about. By submitting an address you confirm that you have that right, that the material at the address may be used for this purpose, and that the resulting film will not infringe anyone's rights or break any law.
We fetch the page you give us (and a few of its public sub-pages), take screenshots of it, read its public repository where applicable, and send extracts of it to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so they can write and design the film. Do not submit pages that require a login, contain other people's personal data beyond what is publicly published, or that you are not allowed to reproduce.
If we receive a complaint from the rightful owner, we may take the film down and suspend the account that made it. You will indemnify us against claims that arise from a submission you were not entitled to make.
4. Free films — and how we may use them
Your first film from a landing page — a short vertical ad — is free. Free films carry a small watermark and end with a short branded outro naming the storefront they were made on. There is one free film per product (per domain), regardless of who asks for it, and we may limit how many free films are made per day or week.
In return for the free film, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to show it — including the product's name, branding and the screenshots in it — on our landing pages and galleries, in our social media and advertising, in demos and in other promotional material, for as long as we operate the service. You confirm you may grant this licence for the product in the film.
If you buy the clean version of a free film, we stop using that film in new promotional placements, and we remove it from our landing pages within 14 days of your request to legal@ame.link. Material already published elsewhere (for example a social post) may remain.
Free films cannot be modified after rendering, and their narrator and storyboard cannot be changed, unless you buy the film.
5. Paid films, credits and payments
Paid films are bought with one-time credits (a short ad, a promo film, or a pack), or by upgrading a free film to its clean version within the offer window shown on the film's page. Prices are shown on each storefront; where a discount is shown, it applies at checkout.
Payments are handled by Polar.sh as our merchant of record: Polar sells you the product, issues the receipt and handles taxes and refunds under its own terms. We never see your card details.
A credit is spent the moment a film starts, and every film costs us real compute from that moment. Sales are therefore final: credits, films and upgrades are not refunded, except where the law gives you a right we cannot exclude or where we could not produce the film at all (then we re-run it or restore the credit).
If a film is wrong — a claim that isn't true, a mangled name, a scene that misses the point, a voice that doesn't fit — don't ask for your money back: tell us. Use the feedback box on the film's page or email legal@ame.link. We look into every report and give you additional modification rounds to put the film right, at no charge.
Paid films include a stated number of modification rounds (currently five), each of which re-cuts the film automatically; further changes require a new film. Formats, lengths and the number of modification rounds are those shown at the time of purchase.
6. Your films and our platform
You keep all rights to the material you submit. For every film we make for you, we grant you a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free licence to use, copy, publish, modify and distribute it for any purpose, commercial or not — for free films, together with the watermark and outro it carries, and alongside the promotional licence you grant us above. Paid films we do not feature or show publicly without your written consent.
The platform itself — the renderer, scene library, templates, music engine, prompts and this website — remains ours (and our licensors'). You may not copy, reverse-engineer, scrape or resell the service, or use it to build a competing one.
No guarantee of the result. Films are generated by software, including AI models, from what your page says. We do not guarantee any particular outcome — not the quality, accuracy, tone, style, length or fitness for a purpose of a film, nor that it matches what you had in mind — and two runs from the same page can differ. We instruct the models not to invent claims, but mistakes happen: a wrong number, a mispronounced name, a scene that misses the point. You review every storyboard and film before you publish it, and you are responsible for what you publish. When a film is wrong, the remedy is more edits, as described above — not a refund.
7. Acceptable use
- No films for products or content that are illegal where you or we are, that infringe others' rights, that are deceptive, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit or that promote harm.
- No attempts to access other people's accounts or films, to probe or overload our systems, or to circumvent limits, watermarks, caps or payment.
- No automated or bulk submission except through means we explicitly offer.
We may refuse, pause or remove a film and suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we may report unlawful activity.
8. Availability and changes
We run the service with care but without guarantees of uninterrupted availability: renders can fail, queues can fill up, features can be paused (for example, repository films while we improve them). We may change these terms; when we do, we update the date above and, for material changes, tell you by email or on the site. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
You may close your account at any time by emailing legal@ame.link. We may close accounts that are inactive for more than 24 months, or that break these terms, after telling you where we reasonably can.
9. Liability
The service and its films are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, we exclude all warranties, and our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited by law, and nothing removes rights you have as a consumer.
10. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands; disputes go to the competent court there, unless mandatory consumer law says otherwise. Questions about these terms: legal@ame.link.
